Hi everyone! I have new amazing product from Contact Crafts, that is designed by the talented Bibi Cameron. It is Intense Liquid Colors. They are like liquid concentrate watercolor/dye reinkers. The colors are potent. The name of the product is an accurate description. The Liquid Colors come in color sets, Bohemian Regals, Retro Brights, Tuscany Earth, and Sparkle Bases. There are also clear stamp sets in the new release, Happy Mail, Good Stuff Inside, and Alphabet. They come with or with Stackable Blocks.
I have created a card featuring the pinks, purples, and yellows from the Bohemian Regals and Retro Brights color sets. For the sentiment I used the Good Stuff Inside stamp set.
For the die cutting I used hot press watercolor paper, 300 GSM. I used Birchpress dies Berry Sprig Rosebud Arch, and Splendid Cosmos. The colors for the focal flower were Saffron from the Retro Brights set. The Berries used a mixture of both sets of Yellow, Red, Purple Rain. For the Rose Buds I used the Red. For the Leaves I used a mix of Green and Saffron. For the stems and flower center I used Sepia.
To blend the colors, I used a blending brush and a pallet. Using basic watercolor techniques to color all the die cuts. Using the watercolor paper helped with the blending of the colors.
For the sentiment I stamps the postage stamp outline from the Good Stuff Inside stamp set on white card stock in black pigment ink. Then stamps HELLO from the stamp set in the center with black pigment ink. Then trim around the postage stamp.
The card is A2 white side folding. Adhere a 5 1/4" x 4" black panel in the center. Adhere a 5" x 3 1/4" white panel on top. Adhere the HELLO to the right center of the card. Then adhere the berries, leaves and rose buds around the sentiment. Adhere the flower to the center left of the card.
